Puffed Pasta and Crackers

Puffed pasta changes completely once it hits the oil. It rises, grows, and follows the shape of each cut. What was flat becomes airy. What was soft turns crisp and fragile.

The pattern doesn't fade in the process, it stretches, shifts, and takes on a new life as the pasta expands. The design survives the transformation, arriving on the surface of something entirely new. You can fill them, split them open into curved crackers, or enjoy them just as they are.

In this gallery, I present different puffed pasta pieces and crackers in a range of shapes and designs. Air, volume, and drawing come together to create forms you don't expect. At this stage, pasta is no longer just a surface, it becomes something closer to a small edible sculpture.
